FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-destructive testing. Device for magnetic inspection contains a body consisting of the head and tail parts. Head part is made in the form of a tube, on it there is a centering unit with the possibility of adjustment for different diameters of the holes of the tubes, consisting of three or four identical articulated arm assemblies distributed along the circumference. Tail portion consists of two coaxially disposed threaded bushings and a casing attached thereto, wherein, in the longitudinal direction of the profile grooves on the pipe, the ends of the sleeves interfaced with the casing are perpendicular to their axis, and with the helical direction of the grooves, the ends of the sleeves are chamfered at an angle α, equal to the angle of the helix of the profile groove. In the case is installed the Barkhausen magnetic noise sensor, which combines the magnetizing and measuring systems. Upper part of the sensor has a tip with magnetizing and receiving contacts, the profile of the tip is similar to the profile of the grooves.
EFFECT: expansion of technological capabilities of the device, allowing to control the level of residual technological stresses in profile grooves on the inner surface of pipes of different diameters with a different number of grooves with a longitudinal and a spiral direction.
