SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 1,1'-di[methacryloyloxy-

bis(trifluoromethyl)methyl]ferrocene of formula I as a monomer with antioxidant properties, capable to increase heat resistance of polymethylmethacrylate. It is also proposed to use compound I as a monomer for radical copolymerization with methylmethacrylate.

EFFECT: use of compound I leads to formation of copolymers having increased heat resistance.
