FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of luminescent lead borosilicate glasses. Glass contains the following components, weight%: B2O3 6.0–27.0; SiO2 3.0–10.0; Al2O3 1.0–3.0; PbO 60.0–90.0 and at least one oxide from the group Pr2O3, Sm2O3, Nd2O3, Tb2O3, Ho2O3, Er2O3, Tm2O3, Eu2O3, Ce2O3 with the following component ratio, said oxide being introduced in excess of 100% (wt%): Pr2O3, Sm2O3 1.0–10.0; Nd2O3. Tb2O3 1.0–20.0; Ho2O3. Er2O3. Tm2O3 1.0–10.0; Eu2O3 1.0–15.0; Ce2O3 0.1–10.0.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining of a high quantum yield of luminescence of ions of rare-earth and transition elements.
