FIELD: turbo-pump construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of turbo-pump construction. In impeller pump 2, body 1 is formed with a conical portion, in which impeller 3 with sleeve 4 is located. Pre-activated axial stage 5 with vanes 6 is installed before vane pump 2 and has a length las, defined by the relation: las = (2.2 ÷ 2.4) ⋅ Douter ⋅ sinβbi, where Douter is the outer diameter of the stage, βbi – the angle of installation of the vanes at the inlet to the periphery.
EFFECT: cavitation qualities and efficiency of the vane pump increase with a relatively low head.
