FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: impeller comprises the main and cover discs with spatial blades arranged there between. Blade entrance edges in plan are elongated relative to peripheral (cover disc) and hub (main disc) surfaces. Blade maximum wrap angle at entrance edge in plan does not exceed 5 to 15 degrees at peripheral and hub surfaces. Bottom point of entrance edge is located at the distance of 0.3-0.5 of inlet cross-section height. Entrance edge is rounded in plan by two radii. Angle of attack of the main disc varies from 6 to 10 degrees and that of cover disc varies from 0 to 2.5 degrees.

EFFECT: higher suction and high efficiency.
