FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering, and more particularly to helicopter gearboxes. Multi-threaded main reducer of the helicopter contains elastic couplings, freewheel clutches, bevel gears with spiral teeth of the first stage and driving cylindrical gears of the second stage. Driving cylindrical gears of the second stage are made on the shafts of the driven bevel gears of the first stage and are connected by means of elastic elements with the leading third-stage chevron gears. Leading chevron gears of the third stage are in mesh with the unifying chevron gear mounted on the shaft of the main rotor. First stage contains four bevel gears connected together by means of elastic elements. Second stage consists of both helical gears and straight-toothed cylindrical gears. Total rigidity of the elastic elements in all kinematic branches is the same. Drive of the tail shaft is made of two driving gears and a unifying driven cylindrical gear. Elastic couplings and free-wheel clutches are made on each of the inputs from the engine. Reducer can be made with an additional input stage.

EFFECT: reduction in specific gravity is achieved.
