SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to the structures of the main gearboxes of helicopters of the coaxial scheme The helicopter gearbox contains two lines of torque transmission from two engines to two driven wheels (2, 2') to drive the rotor shafts (3, 3'). Each line includes three stages of reduction. At the first stage, the driving bevel gear (4) of the first stage is installed, located on the first shaft (5), and the driven bevel gear (6) of the first stage, located on the second shaft (7), which is in engagement with it. At the second stage, a driving cylindrical gear wheel (8) of the second stage, located on the second shaft (7), and two driven cylindrical wheels (9) are installed. Each driven wheel (9) meshes with a pinion gear (8) and is also connected to a synchronizing gear train (11). The third stage contains four driving gears (15), each of which is installed on the shaft (14) of the third stage, while the gears (15) are in mesh with the common driven cylindrical wheels (2, 2').
EFFECT: increased reliability, reduced gearbox weight, increased bearing life.
