FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used in order to create the synchronization systems for time scales of spatially separated objects. Result is achieved by means of using for creating the data channel the exact time information of meteor tracks that simultaneously scatter the signal forward to the point of the frequency and time keeper and reflect the signal back to the reference keeper point. Essence of the synchronization method is in the following operations. Time stamps are transmitted over a channel, which is created by meteor tracks, on which the signal carrying the time stamp information is scattered, forward, to the receiving point, and back to the receiver of the reference oscillator, which allows, on the basis of an estimate of the propagation time of the signal in the data channel, to generate a synchronizing timestamp of the reference oscillator taking into account the delay of the synchronizing stamp in the channel without using additional measurements.

EFFECT: reduced volume of measurements during synchronization of the time scales of spatially separated time and frequency keepers along the meteoric radio channel.
