SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control means using pointing gestures. Method of controlling an object includes displaying at least one object on the display screen, detecting a multi-finger pointing gesture to select an object on the display screen, activating the camera after detecting a multi-finger pointing gesture, determining the hand in the picture entered through the camera, and the input, when the hand disappears from the viewing angle of the camera, into the waiting state of transferring the file to transfer the selected object.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the arsenal of means for the same purpose.
