FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: printing plate and methods of its installation are stated. According to a method for installing a printing plate on a printing cylinder, a form roll or a sleeve, the mounting tape is attached to a printing cylinder, a form roll or a sleeve, providing a printing plate in which a layer of a composition comprising propanol in an amount of from about 70 % to about 94.995 % of the volume of the composition is deposited on at least a portion of the side of the printing plate facing the printing cylinder, the printing roll or the sleeve, ethyl acetate in an amount of from about 5 % to about 29.995 % by volume of the composition, and a resin mixture in an amount of from about 0.005 % to about 3 % by volume of the composition, the resin blend comprising polyurethane, cellulose nitrate and maleic resins, allow the propanol and ethyl acetate to evaporate from the surface of the printing plate and attach the printing plate to the mounting tape.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide a sufficient force to attach the printing plate to the printing cylinder, the form roll or the sleeve, so that the printed plate can be removed from the printing cylinder, a form-factor shaft or liner without transferring any substances to the side of the printing plate, facing the printing cylinder, the form-factor shaft or the sleeve.
