SUBSTRATE TREATMENT METHODS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE ITS BEHAVIOR WITH RESPECT TO THE UNPLEASANT ODORS CREATING MOLECULES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC D06M13/192 D06M13/513 D06M16/00 D06M101/16

Abstract RU 2663043 C1

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technical field associated with the substrates treatment methods in order to improve their behavior with respect to the unpleasant odors, in particular, in order to impart to them the absorbing odor-creating molecules property, on the said substrates, such as textile materials, and / or in order to improve such properties. Disclosed is the substrate treatment method, which comprises the following stages: i) acidic aqueous composition preparation comprising at least one organosilane A containing at least one hydrolizable alkoxy group, and at least one basic polycarboxylic acid B containing at least four -COOH carboxyl groups, or its corresponding anhydride, containing at least four -COO-CO groups; wherein the weight ratio between the said at least one organosilane A weight and the said at least one basic polycarboxylic acid B weight is in the range from 0.8 to 1.2; ii) said composition application to the said substrate, and iii) said substrate containing the said composition heating to temperature greater than or equal to 120 °C, preferably greater than or equal to 130 °C, for the said organosilane A polymerization together with at least basic polycarboxylic acid B or its corresponding anhydride.

EFFECT: invention enables the synthetic substrate creation, which absorbs the unpleasant odors throughout the product service life, that is, even after its repeated washing.
