SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the use of a polypeptide having deoxyribonuclease (DNase) activity to prevent or reduce repeated deposition of dirt on an article during a subsequent cleaning or washing process. Described is the use of a polypeptide having DNase activity to prevent or reduce repeated sedimentation of dirt or odor on an article during a washing process, where the article is a textile article. Invention also relates to a detergent composition comprising a polypeptide having deoxyribonuclease activity (DNase), and a method of preventing or reducing reprecipitation of dirt on an article during a subsequent cleaning or washing process.

EFFECT: technical result is effective stain removal and deep tissue cleaning.
