SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of light engineering, specifically to semiconductor lighting devices, and is intended for use in general-purpose lighting equipment. General-purpose LED lamp comprises a light diffuser, LEDs, a hollow radiator, having a surface for mounting a lamp base and being made of a thermally-conducting electrically-insulating material, a metal heat sink, which is installed in the cavity of the radiator, and which is made in the form of a thin-walled component having a bottom on which the LEDs are positioned and a lamp base. Radiator cavity and metal heat sink are in the form of a truncated multi-faceted pyramid, the top of which pyramid faces the lamp base, and the number of faces of which pyramid is selected from the expression given in the claims.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the simplification of the design, improvement of thermal operation of the LEDs, and the reduction in overall dimensions of the article.
