FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conversion equipment. Power supply system (10) for supplying electric power from electric network (14) to load (18) comprises at least one power supply module (20). Power supply module (20) comprises DC circuit (24), which is supplied from electrical network (14); and inverter (26) connected to DC circuit (24) and adapted to convert the DC voltage from DC circuit (24) to the AC voltage applied to load (18). Power supply system (10) comprises electric power storage device (30) which is charged from DC circuit (24) and supplies electrical energy to DC circuit (24) when electrical network (14) fails, electric power storage device (30) is connected to null point (N) of power supply module (20) by one input (36). Power supply module (20) comprises a bidirectional down/up converter (40) connected to positive potential (DC+) or negative potential (DC-) of DC circuit (24), null point (N), and another input (34) of device (30) for storing electrical energy.
EFFECT: disclosure relates to a power supply system for supplying a load with electric energy from an electrical network and to a method for operating a power supply system.
