FIELD: fodder production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock sector, poultry keeping and aquaculture and relates to biologically active feed additives based on natural sources of raw materials and methods of using them. Method for increasing the biological status and productivity of poultry and farm livestock involves the use of a biologically active additive, containing up to 13.0 % dried bottom mud (peloid) of the Khanskoye Lake deposit of the Yeisksky District of the Krasnodar territory with pH of 7.77 in amount of 99.0 % and a chelating agent-disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid in amount of 1.0 %. In this case, the feed additive is used together with the main feed compound in amount of 1.0 % to 3.0 % of their weight.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the biological status and productivity of farm poultry and livestock, as well as to reduce the cost of production of feed additive.
