SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the security of computer networks, namely to the formation of images when a user passes a fully automated Turing test. Method for identifying a PC user "human or Internet robot", in which each image is formed on the basis of a group of 3-dimensional models, wherein the lighting parameters and the shooting angle are set by a pseudo-random process, each such 3-dimensional model can be synthesized from 3-dimensional elementary primitives by means of applying operations of union, intersection, addition, while the image shows more than three objects and necessarily some have a complex shape, and there necessarily are cases of obscuring of some 3-dimensional models by the other ones, in addition, the objects cast shadows onto each other, and the unique image is automatically created for each test assignment.

EFFECT: increased likelihood of distinguishing a person from an Internet robot when accessing Internet resources.
