FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of centrifugal separators for the containing liquid contaminants gas cleaning, in particular to the internal combustion engine crankcase gases cleaning of oil particles. Gas cleaning centrifugal separator comprises stationary casing, comprising the surrounding sidewall, first end wall and second end wall, which surround the space, through which the gas flow is provided, wherein the said space comprises the upper separation chamber and the lower outlet chamber, inlet, passing through the stationary casing and providing the gas to be cleaned supply to the separation chamber, rotating member comprising the separation discs package and arranged, to rotate about the axis of rotation, wherein the separation discs package is located in the separation chamber, drive element for the rotating member rotation. At that, the outlet chamber is located in the axial direction below the separation discs package so, that clean gas and separated liquid contaminants enter the outlet chamber after their separation in the separation discs package. Separator additionally comprises the gas outlet, configured to discharge the cleaned gas from the stationary casing, wherein the gas outlet comprises passing through the stationary casing outlet opening, and portion passing from the outlet opening to the outlet chamber, and located in the outlet chamber drainage outlet and configured to discharge the separated liquid contaminants from the stationary casing. Gas cleaning method comprises the stages, at which providing the centrifugal separator of the above design, introducing containing liquid contaminants gas, into the said centrifugal separator inlet, and discharging clean gas through the said gas outlet and discharging separated from the gas liquid contaminants through the said drainage outlet.

EFFECT: increase in the separation efficiency.
