FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to feed additives, which have a hepatoprotective and antitoxic effect, designed to reduce the toxic load on the poultry organism, as well as to improve the functional activity of the liver. Feed additive for poultry, which has a hepatoprotective and antitoxic effect, contains bentonite, sodium thiosulfate, grass of common agrimony and flour of seeds of blessed milk thistle with the following ratio of components, mass. %: sodium thiosulphate – 10.0–11.0; grass of common agrimony – 8.0–9.0; flour of seed of blessed milk thistle – 7.0–8.0; bentonite – the rest.
EFFECT: invention allows expanding the range of feed additives for poultry, and its use will ensure an increase in the safety and productivity of the poultry due to hepatoprotective and antitoxic action.
