SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a support for maintaining a tensioned screening surface on a screen and can be used for a variety of applications. Elongated support for supporting the tensioned screening device in the screen comprises two opposite spaced apart wings, between which a channel is formed for receiving and supporting the longitudinal support beam. Support is provided with a neck provided at one end of the wings and forming a web between the wings and a head provided at the neck and having flexible flanges that extend transversely outward from the neck. Flanges are configured to deform and resiliently press against the wings to maintain the screening device installed under the tension on the head. Screen comprises a frame with a plurality of carrier beams, a tensioned screening device supported on the carrier beams, and a plurality of elongated supports mounted on the support beams to be supported with a contact of the screening means. Screening device comprises an open structure or a plurality of apertures to allow passage downward through the means. Open structure or openings continue / continue continuously along the length of the tool in a direction perpendicular to the bearing beams, so that the supports are located directly below the open structure or openings and are configured to muffle an open structure or openings in the region of the means directly above each respective support.
