SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metallurgical industry, in particular to vehicles for transporting liquid slag. Slag carrier contains an undercarriage truck with a frame, a body, mounted on the frame on the supporting elements, the body tilting mechanism. Body tilting mechanism comprises a hydraulic drive with at least one telescopic hydraulic cylinder for lifting and lowering the body, fixed to the frame in its front part. Body is made rectangular, its longitudinal and front walls are located at an angle to the vertical plane, the cross-section of its bottom has the form of a trapezium, and from the rear the body has a cover and a system of levers for opening and closing it, hingedly connected to the frame. Body has the outside stiffening-cooling ribs located on its lateral surfaces, their lower parts located under the bottom of the body, perform the function of support elements when installing the body on the frame.

EFFECT: as a result, the strength and reliability in operation are increased, as a result, the service life is increased.
