FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed running gear of tram includes traction drive and wheel bogie. Frame 4 of bogie has low central cage with lemniscate mechanism 18. Lemniscate mechanism has body in form of axisymmetrical four-beam flat box-shaped frame with central aperture in form of body of revolution; it is provided with twin system of rods which are oriented horizontally in longitudinal direction and are spaced in axisymmetrical direction. It is also provided with twin system of dampers and shock absorbers which are spaced horizontally and are oriented in transversal direction. Frame is also provided with central suspension of tram formed by system of cantilever supports 26 which form four-stage cushioning system of rail vehicle body and cushioning of traction drive parts at different levels together with circular shock absorbers of wheel hubs, shock absorbers of axle box suspension and lemniscate mechanism.
EFFECT: smooth running, passing of curves at minimum radii; reduction of dynamic loads and noise; increased distance run between overhauls; enhanced reliability and maintainability.
