FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used in the development of mineral deposits, mainly kimberlite pipes, when they are refined after the extraction of reserves from the upper part by the open method. Mechanically, a selective excavation of ores containing predominantly gem-class diamonds, concentric panels along the contour of the deposit, starting from its contour areas, with the remaining between the primary chambers of the inter-camera towers being formed, vertically in the formed primary chambers, drainage pipes for brine aquifers bypassing from the zone of mining operations to the lower aquifers.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of development of ore deposits of diamonds with ensuring the safety and crystal-saving of high-value diamonds by taking into account the revealed regularities of changes in the properties of rocks, perform geomechanical analysis of the state of the mine workings and forecast their stability at the initial stage of underground mining, conduct observations of deformations and destruction of the contour array.
