FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and can be used in the mining of high-value diamonds with safety and crystal saving by gentle excavation of sites with an increased content of high-value diamonds, including diamond jewelry. Small diameter borehole is drilled in a zone with a high content of high value diamonds, with the allocation of ore sites with an abnormally high content of high value diamonds. Electrohydraulic device is installed on the rod of the drilling rig and immersed in a small diameter hole into the depth of the ore site with an abnormally high content of high value diamonds. Through the cavity of the rod and the cavity of the electrohydraulic device, a natural brine is fed into a small diameter borehole after its sealing with an elastic plug. Electric cable is initially supplied with a constant voltage to the electrodes of the electrohydraulic device to ensure the implementation of the electrolysis process, and then – pulses, depending on the physical and mechanical properties of the ore, with duration and intensity, providing the injection of the active liquid-gas mixture of natural brine into the microcracks by electric discharge.
EFFECT: increase the efficiency of development of ore deposits of diamonds.
