SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of winding machines, and can be used for the rotary operating element relative to the roll automatic positioning. Automatic positioning device includes rotary operating element. Operating element is supported on the levers first free ends. Levers are pivotally installed on the pins. Pins are connected to the winding machine frame. Operating element is configured to rotate with the help of corresponding drive. At the opposite end relative to the operating element placement levers have projecting parts. Projecting parts interact with at least one pair of stops. Stops are located on the cam. Cam is configured to rotate relative to the said frame by means of a drive. All stops are located on the cam at different radial distances from the cam rotation axis. Rotary operating element is made in the form of contact roller or cutting blade.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the productivity, eliminating possibility of the injuries.
