SUBSTANCE: proposed stand is equipped with a brake-drive comprising an electric machine and a hydraulic machine, the electric machine with two connecting outputs of the rotor shaft, one of which is connected to the shaft of the internal combustion engine, the other one is connected to the shaft of the displacement hydraulic machine, and in the generator operation mode i.e. in the brake mode the electric machine has the limits of rotation frequency, which are within the limits of rotation of loaded internal combustion engine under hot running-in.

EFFECT: providing braking torque for modern diesel internal combustion engines with such power of the brake-drive electric machine which is necessary only for driving the internal combustion engine during cold running-in, simplification of the stand device.
