FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: thermomechanical drive for moving optical components of the lens consists of pairs of plates connected in pairs with different coefficients of temperature expansion (CTE), first plate in pair with a small CTE is connected to the second plate in a pair with a large CTE such that the total displacement ΔL(T) of the end of the second plate relative to the fixed end of the first plate when the temperature is varied is determined by the formula ΔL(T)=L×ΔT×(α2-α1), where L is the length of the plate; ΔT – temperature change interval; α1 and α2 – KTP of plate materials. In the stack of n pairs of plates, the first plate of the stack – with a smaller CTE and the last plate of the stack – with a large CTE. Total displacement of the plates in the stack is determined by the formula ΔL(T)=n×L×ΔT×(α2-α1). First plate of the stack is fixed on a fixed frame fixed on the fixed part of the lens, and the last plate of the stack is mounted on a movable frame.
EFFECT: providing thermal compensation of image defocusing in the temperature range from minus 40 °C to plus 50 °C within the error of the image defocus measurement.
