SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a toner cartridge and to an image forming apparatus comprising a toner cartridge. Claimed group of inventions includes a toner cartridge and an image forming apparatus. Moreover, the toner cartridge comprises a cartridge main body in which a toner is placed, a rotator disposed in the main cartridge body and pivotable about a pivot axis, transfer device located outside the cartridge main body and configured to transfer rotation to the rotator, and a movement mechanism configured to move the transfer device between a first position and a second position located on the outside with respect to a first position in the direction of the rotation axis of the rotator, the transfer mechanism having a holder holding the transfer device, wherein when the holder is moved relative to the cartridge main body, the transfer device is moved between the first position and the second position.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of reducing the load on the worker during the operations of fixing and detaching the toner container, in enabling the holder to move reliably from left to right when the lid is turned, and also in providing the possibility of an easy replacement of the toner container.
