SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of interface devices for a vehicle frame assembly, in particular to adapters for mounting a vehicle module of a child accommodation module on a vehicle frame. Adapter for mounting on the vehicle frame of the child accommodation module comprises an installation and a receiving part. Mounting portion comprises a trough-shaped section for housing the frame member in the longitudinal direction of the trough-shaped section and a locking section engaged with the trough-shaped section by longitudinal sliding along the longitudinal edges of the trough-shaped section. Method for installing a child accommodation module on a vehicle frame assembly includes mounting an adapter on the frame member of the chute section, closing the gutter section by engaging the locking section with it, securing the adapter to the frame assembly, and installing the module to accommodate the child on the receiving part of the adapter.
EFFECT: simplification of design is achieved.
