FIELD: images forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to construct a local vertical along the image of the Earth's horizon when targeting and navigating spacecraft. Method includes forming an image of a space on a photosensitive matrix, a radiation beam forming the image, collimating and dividing into two optical channels, in which the primary ring image is transformed into one-dimensional images in the form of lines oriented in optical channels mutually perpendicular and focused on photodetective matrices, and the deviation from the vertical is determined from the displacement of the lines in the plane of the photodetective matrices. Device contains a panoramic mirror-lens objective and a photodetector array located in the image plane. In the device behind which the collimator and the beam-splitting block prism are installed, in the channels formed by it at an angle of 90° relative to each other cylindrical lenses are placed, in the focal plane of which photodetector arrays are installed.
EFFECT: simplified design of the optical system and increased measurement range.
