FIELD: pulp industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pulp and paper industry, to pre-coating compositions for paper sheet, and can be used in the manufacture of heat-sensitive paper. In the method, the composition for the base layer of the thermosensitive paper includes an inorganic pigment consisting of a mixture of calcium sulphoaluminate salts and magnesium sulphoaluminate and kaolin modified with the sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose. Above modification is carried out in the presence of nanoscale particles, such as aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide, aluminum metahydroxide and calcium oxide in an amount of 1.0–2.0 % of the total pigment weight. As a water-soluble binder, the composition uses polyvinyl alcohol in an amount of 20–30 % by weight of the total weight of the pigment.
EFFECT: higher degree of air permeability index is obtained when forming the base layer when obtaining heat-sensitive paper.
