FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of coke fine grades briquetting, comprising mixing of coke fine fractions with a binding agent, briquettes pressing, characterized in that coke charge made of coke fines class 0–10 mm, typical for coke production humidity is mixed with coke dust of 0–1 mm fraction in the ratio of 2.5/1 to 4.5/1 by weight, with a binding agent, is pressed with a pressure to 35 MPa and solidified under natural conditions, preferably at 20 °C, for 24 hours, a mixture of dry fly ash (waste of coal-fired power plants) and crystalline caustic in the ratio of 3/2 to 4/1 by mass is used as a binding agent, whose share in the briquette charge is 7–10 % by mass, while the mixture of fly ash, caustic and moisture of coke fine grades serves as the formation of aluminosilicate glue, which has a cementing effect for maturing strength.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the production of smokeless carbon-containing briquettes without thermal drying, with increased mechanical strength, reducing the energy intensity and the cost of briquettes.
