FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a magnetic nanomaterial comprising iron-containing nanoparticles distributed in a matrix of a pyrolyzed ferrocene-containing polymer. Material is characterized in that said nanoparticles include iron in a zero-valent state of Fe0 and covered with graphite coating, and the ferrocene-containing polymer is a polyhalcon obtained by reacting diacetylferrocene with terephthalic or isophthalaldehyde, while the mass content of iron in the nanomaterial is 43.27–56.20 %, and the saturation magnetization is 1–43 Gs cm3/g. Invention also relates to a process for production of a nanomaterial, according to which diacetylferrocene is reacted with terephthalic or isophthalic aldehyde in ethyl alcohol in the presence of NaOH with stirring and at temperature of 20–70 °C and forming ferrocene-containing polyhalcon, which is further heated at 500–1000 °C in an argon atmosphere.
EFFECT: proposed nanomaterial has high level of magnetization.
