FIELD: medicine; simulators.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to health care, management in medicine, and can be used for training of management health personnel. Method of development of cognitive abilities of an operator-chief of the health organization, necessary for professional activity, comprises training with the help of an interactive simulator by playing a game-quest on the virtual model of the health organization (hereinafter – HO), where the virtual model of the HO is characterized by the presence of an external and internal environment, formed by the corresponding given parameters, depending on the type and profile of the activity being carried out. At the beginning of the training, the operator selects a quest, which is a logically related description of the problem management situation within the specified parameters of the external and internal environment of the specified HO and containing a specified number of interrelated steps in the form of questions for the operator or visual models of managerial behavior for selecting a solution variant at each step of the quest. Each step is estimated in points. During the quest, a feedback is made in the form of a visualized scale, reflecting whether the answer at the passed step is true or false, and the current location of the operator in the quest and the current time spent for the quest are visualized. Virtual model of the HO is executed to provide the operator with the possibility of reviewing the results of the quest steps and using additional educational and reference resources relating to the content of the quest, by external links. According to the number of points scored for a given time of the quest, as well as the dynamics of changes thereof, the development of the cognitive abilities of the operator and the skills of making managerial decisions are estimated.

EFFECT: result of personal-oriented training is the development of system thinking flexibility, increased analytical skills, expanded memory, increased speed of processing specialized management information to make management decisions on a specific situation, the development of the function of planning and controlling situations, id est the development of integral abilities of the operator-manager of the HO and the elimination of cognitive dissonance in perception of the diversity of organization's activities.
