FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage pulse technology. Technical result is achieved by a generator of high-voltage pulses with optical control, refers to high-voltage pulse technology and can be used as part of powerful linear induction accelerators for remote start of high-voltage synchronization system. Generator includes a power source, where its circuit includes a high-voltage pulse transformer, a feedback controller controlling a transistor commuting the primary winding of the transformer to a common bus and a voltage multiplier connected to the secondary winding, additionally, the generator contains a controlled three-electrode arrestor, a high-voltage pulse capacitor made with multidirectional leads and, together with a three-electrode spark gap, placed in a common grounded box.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the stability of the generator of high-voltage pulses with optical control.
