FIELD: mechanical engineering; aircraft gas-turbine engines; energy generating plants. SUBSTANCE: ignition system has semiconductor voltage converter with control and stabilization unit, first transistor switch, reference resistor and first transformer with primary, control and output windings. Output winding is connected through high-voltage diode to first reservoir capacitor which is connected to spark plug through controlled spark gap and winding of second transformer of activator. Secondary winding of pulse third transformer is connected to control electrode of park gap. One end of control winding of first transformer of converter is connected with metering circuit consisting of series-connected resistor and second capacitor which is connected to first input of comparator whose second input is connected with output unit of stabilizer whose output is connected to input (in supply circuit) of voltage converter, and output of comparator is connected with input of second transistor, switch. It is proposed to connected output of second switch in ignition system with control and stabilization unit of converter to which one of ends of primary winding of pulse third transformer is connected. Second end of this winding is connected with collector of first transistor switch of converter. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
