FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process for the continuous solution polymerization of rubbers comprising the supply of a gas-liquid mixture comprising a monomer or monomers, hydrogen and a separately prepared catalyst complex into the first and subsequent reactors while stirring the reaction mass, elevated pressure and temperature, withdrawal of the resulting polymer, its washing and deactivation of the catalytic complex, separation of rubber chips, drying and briquetting, in which a deactivator is introduced into the polymerizer collected for subsequent operations and moving at a speed of 0.05–0.5 m/s in a confined space of the main line, after which the polymer with a deactivator in a non-magnetic cylindrical vessel built into the polymerization line, subject to high-speed action of moving anisotropic ferromagnetic bodies, driven by an electromagnetic field formed by electromagnetic field inductors, installed outside the outer tube, enclosing a non-magnetic cylindrical container, inside the volume of which medium is mixed and the catalyst is deactivated. Also provided is an apparatus for carrying out the above method.
EFFECT: creation of a new method for continuous solution polymerization of rubbers and a device for its implementation, providing effective deactivation of the catalyst in the bulk of the polymer, slowly moving in a limited space of the highway, simplifying the composition and reducing the volume of the deactivating medium.
