SUBSTANCE: alternating current voltage stabilizer can be used for the electrical equipment, communication, automatics and telemechanics systems, lighting networks power supply. In the containing transformer AC voltage stabilizer, which primary winding is connected to the phase and neutral wires input terminals, respectively, through the switching unit including normally closed and normally open contacts, and the secondary winding is in-series connected to the load, the limiting resistor with in-parallel connected normally closed contacts, connected between the switching unit normally open contacts and the zero wire, capacitor, in-parallel connected to the transformer primary winding, and the comparison and control device, including the switching and intermediate relays, auxiliary power source and monitoring and control circuit, monitoring the load voltage increase or decrease from the set level, between the phase and neutral wires it is proposed to include the overvoltage protection device, in-parallel with the switching unit terminals, include the RC circuits, and the monitoring and control circuit is made with possibility of the relay switching delays generation for the transient responses quenching time, caused by the primary winding switching.

EFFECT: increase in reliability and enabling the set voltage on the load due to the guaranteed transient responses quenching between switching, as well as due to the reliable protection against the switching unit terminals sparking and immunity to the high-frequency high-voltage over voltages in the supply network, caused by the in-parallel connected mains voltage powerful consumers switching or lightning phenomena.
