SUBSTANCE: bridge layer composite lining-screen is designed to increase the equipped with the crawler bridge-layer bridge transition throughput capacity, and increase its protection level against the fire damage means. Third folding section (6) by the rotated by 180° folding shackles (13) is fixed to the first folding section (6) with the offset (perpendicular to the axis of the installed bridge) and secured with the pin (14). Fourth folding section (6) by the rotated by 180° folding shackles (13) is fixed to the first folding section (6) and the second folding section (6), and secured with the pin (14). Shortened section (11) with the grooves (12) is coupled to the second and fourth folding sections (6), secured with the pin (14). Further, similarly to the previous, to the shortened section (11) and the fourth section (6) the fifth and sixth sections (6) are docked. Subsequently, the process of docking operations with the folding sections (6) and the shortened sections (11) alternating shifting in opposite directions along the directions, perpendicular to the installed bridge axis, is repeated until the lining covering is completely assembled. Dismantling of the assembled using the composite pavement-screen of the bridge-laying machine lining covering, is carried out in the reverse order.

EFFECT: placed on the machine sides, the bridge-laying device composite pavement-screen, consisting of folding sections (6), reduces the aimed at the bridge-laying machine (1) cumulative airborne weapons effectiveness.
