FIELD: bridge construction.
SUBSTANCE: bridge layers with the installation of a bridge on an obstacle using the “opening-sliding” method, made on a tracked chassis, used to guide a double-track bridge crossing over an obstacle. The bridge layer contains a bridge layer on a tracked chassis with an armoured body, a retractable double-track bridge unit with middle and end sections, a front support in the form of bulldozer equipment with a hydraulic drive, a rear support with a locking device for the bridge unit at the rear of the machine in the transport position, opening mechanisms and mechanisms for connecting sections of bridge unit, a laying mechanism, including a laying frame driven by hydraulic cylinders and a moving mechanism of the bridge unit driven by hydraulic motors. The chassis of the bridge layer is made with a supporting surface using components and assemblies of a tank chassis, the laying frame is made composite and includes a rotating frame and a retractable frame, the extension mechanism of which is driven by hydraulic motors and is installed on the rotating frame. The retractable frame houses a mechanism for moving the bridge unit and opening mechanisms made with the possibility of docking and undocking them with the end sections of the bridge unit. In the transport position, the end sections are stacked on the middle section one on top of the other in the form of a three-tier package, the front support is moved forward due to two longitudinal beams of a box-section.
EFFECT: possibility of transporting and laying a bridge unit up to 25-27 meters long.
