FIELD: fire safety; alarm system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire alarm. Method and a device implementing it are described, comprising a clock generator, a control and storage circuit, emitter of light pulses, main and additional receivers of reflected light pulse signals, synchronous detection and reset circuits, the determinant of the ratios of the change in the intensity of the scattering of light radiation, which contains two logarithm, connected through a divisor with an antilogarithmator, the identifier of the scattering of light radiation, the synchronization circuit of the information signal and the driver of the smoke detection signal or the process control signal.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the reliability of detection of the optical density of smoke with reducing the measurement error and eliminating dustiness factors, false triggering with the formation of technological control signals.
