SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatus for displaying comments on a web page. Method comprises sending a request to view the web page to a server containing a web page address, receiving web page information corresponding to the web page address returned by the server, wherein the web page information contains a source code and a list of comment object, each fragment of the comment object information in the commenting information object list contains information on the position of the web page material element commented by the user, visualizing and displaying the web page material corresponding to the web page address, according to the source code contained in the web page information, and displaying comments on the web page regarding a plurality of web page material elements corresponding to the web page address, in the order corresponding to the number of comments on the web page for each of the plurality of web page material elements, according to the comment object information list.
EFFECT: automatic ordering of comments on the web page material is provided.
