SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of automation and computer technology. Adaptive digital smoothing device comprises: an arithmetic unit; subunit calculating the median velocity of the process (MP); a block for forming shear pulses; a subunit of selecting the smoothing coefficient by the speed of the median of the process, containing a comparator, a shift register, two AND elements, the first (A) information input of the comparator is connected to the output of the shift register, the second (B) information input of the comparator is connected to the information output of the MP rate calculation sub-block, the control output of the comparator ratio (B<A) is input to the first input of the first AND subunit element, the control output of the ratio (B>A) of the comparator is connected to the first input of the second AND subunit element, the shift register to the right of the shift register is connected to the output of the AND element of the block for forming shear pulses, and the latter through the delay element of the block is placed on the second inputs of both elements AND of the sub-block of selecting the smoothing coefficient, the output of the first AND element which is connected to the shift line to the right of the shift register of the arithmetic block, and the output of the second AND element is with the register memory register of the arithmetic block.

EFFECT: providing automatic selection of the smoothing factor depending on the speed of the MP.
