FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a system and method designed to produce gas from gas hydrate formations. Method produces gas from gas hydrate formations under frozen layers of earth in cold regions or under the sea bottom/slopes. For this purpose, a well containing gas hydrate formations is drilled. Place the tubing with drilled holes in the form of strips with plugs near the gas hydrate formation into the drilled well. Select the lowest mark of the depth of the gas hydrate formation as the target level. Water is removed from the well to lower the pressure in the tubing. Drive the drilling machine to the target level of the gas hydrate formation along the tubing to lower the drilling machine and control it. Drill the plugs in the tubing at the target level of the gas hydrate formation by means of the drill bit of the said drilling machine. Channels are drilled in the gas hydrate formation, dissociate the formation into gas and water by reducing the pressure in the formation through the drilled channels. Adjust the water level and water pressure in the tubing at the target level when replacing the dissociated gas and water with a cavern. Retract the drill bit into the tubing. Repeat the technological steps, starting from the lower level, to the upper level of the gas hydrate formation and obtaining the separated gas at the wellhead.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of gas production.
