SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to gardening. Method includes the use of annual first-grade or overgrown seed or clonal rootstocks of fruit crops, inoculation in the spring of the second year of long cuttings by method of "whip and tongue grafting" or "veneer side grafting" tying inoculations with film, installing individual supports and tying the long cut to the support, watering and fertilizing with fertilizers. In this case, apple and cherry young plants are used as fruit crops. For grafting, cuttings of 70–80 cm long are used, grafting of the seed rootstocks is carried out at a height of 5–7 cm, and for clonal rootstocks – is carried out at an height of 20–25 cm. Fragments of the stock of the rootstock and side shoots on the long cut are held at a height of up to 70 cm from the site of inoculation.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the yield of standard two-year-old young plants of apple and sweet cherry with a crown.
