FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: in the method stratified seeds of brier are sown with a norm of 2-3 per 1 running metre with periodical removal of shoots. In spring of the next year before the first decade of June shoots are also periodically removed, and side formations are removed on the central shoot, and veneer grafting is made with an open eye for 2-3 cm part of the main root. Tying is made with a polyethylene film of 60-80 microns, and the central shoot of the stock is cut by half. In 6 days the central shoot is reduced by 1/3, on the twelfth day again by 1/3, on the 18-20th day, when 3-4 cm of the graft shoot appear, the tying is removed, as well as the remaining stock below the root crown. In the middle of August the produced flower buds that slow down the growth are cut.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to accelerate preparation of stock for grafting by means of switching of growth processes not to the side shoot formations and young growth formations, but to formation of a single shoot with leaves and a well developed upper part of the root, which makes it possible to speed up production of grafted roses within 2 years.
