SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and relates to method for predicting the effectiveness of antiretroviral therapy in patients with co-infection with tuberculosis and HIV infection, including evaluation of clinical data, where the ratio of total cholesterol to triglycerides is determined in plasma or serum and at a numerical value below 5.0 predicts the effectiveness of antiretroviral therapy.
EFFECT: invention provides expansion of the range of methods that allows the physician to predict the effectiveness of antiretroviral therapy in the co-infection of tuberculosis and HIV infection as soon as possible.
