SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pack (1) comprising at least one single-use capsule or pod (3) for a portioned beverage which has two opposite bases (4, 4) and side wall (5) connecting two bases (4, 4) defining therewith a chamber for containing an aromatic substance. Pack (1) has sealed container (2) for containing said capsule or pod (3) housed in a protective inert gas atmosphere, wherein sealed container (2) copies at least in part the shape of capsule or pod (3) and is in contact with at least part of said capsule or pod, at least partially reproducing its shape.

EFFECT: pack with single-use capsule or pod, a packaging machine and a packaging method are provided.
