SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a preform for a flip top container, as well as to a method of manufacturing the proposed preform and to a method for manufacturing a flip top container therefrom. In a preferred embodiment, the preform according to the invention can have a section corresponding to the outer casing and a section corresponding to the inner casing. Of these, the first contains two side panels, a front panel and a back panel. Typically, each side panel is connected to the front panel along opposite vertical fold lines, and the rear panel is connected to one of the side panels along a vertical crease line. In the side panels and in the front panel, a creasing line is made, inclined in the side panels downward towards the front panel, and at least in the portion of the front panel passing horizontally. Each of the side panels, the front panel and the back panel are provided with a valve connected at the top and bottom horizontal folding lines of the panel. In addition, the preform section corresponding to the inner frame comprises two inner side sections and an inner front section, wherein each inner side section is connected to an inner front section at opposite vertical crease lines, and the inner front section is provided with a valve connected at the upper horizontal crease line and comprising a creasing line defining a portion of the valve positioned above the creasing line.

EFFECT: preform for a reclosable container is proposed.
