SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Rail vehicle brake actuators icing elimination method includes stages, at which the brake actuators from the home position, in which they are open, can move into the braking position, in which the closing force acts on the brake actuators. Brake actuators from the home position are moved to the de-icing position, in which in order to separate the icing, the opening force acts on the brake actuators against the closing force. Rail vehicle manipulation device for the said deicing method comprises brake actuators.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the brakes reliability due to the rail vehicle brake actuators icing elimination.
