FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid delivery system in a vehicle. Method of supplying liquid to a liquid delivery system in a vehicle is described. Method includes a removable liquid container, including a reservoir containing a fluid to be connected to the vehicle, with the possibility of removing and providing fluid communication between the reservoir and the vehicle liquid delivery system during operation. Method according to the invention comprises the exchange of data with a data carrier that is provided with a container, and determining data associated with at least one of the containers and its contents, before establishing a communication between the reservoir and the liquid delivery system of the selected vehicle; the use of said data in an analysis of the suitability of the container and/or the contents of the container for the selected vehicle and generating an suitability output signal; and establishing a communication between the reservoir and the liquid delivery system of the selected vehicle, depending on the suitability output signal.
EFFECT: invention provides control and regulation of the operation of the engine in response to changes in the measured fluid characteristic.
